Description
An alkyd-binder-based synthetic primer paint.
Properties
Leaves no brush marks, does not run, adheres well, and provides a smooth, sound surface for the topcoat.
Application area
Used indoors and outdoors to protect wood and metal surfaces, as a primer under synthetic topcoats.
Application method
Surface prep — clean of all dirt, rust and oil; level with Super Putty and sand if needed. On wood, burn the knots and saturate with Pinosan Decorative Wood Varnish Matt; on metal, prime with AntiRust first; then apply Kivastar. Priming — for brush/roller, thin 1 L of Kivastar with 50–100 ml of Dyo Synthetic Thinner. After one day, sand and apply synthetic topcoats. Clean tools with Dyo Synthetic Thinner.
