Description
An acrylic-based, fiber-added liquid roof-waterproofing material.
Properties
Developed for waterproofing and especially roof insulation. High chemical and UV resistance, excellent adhesion, waterproof and decorative. Its fibre makes it more resistant to mechanical impact. Its semi-fluid nature coats surfaces easily. Its water-vapour permeability lets moisture escape. Retains elasticity through hot/cold swings.
Application area
Safely used where water/moisture-proofing is needed — concrete, plaster, brick, ytong, briquette, eternit, wood, and corrugated/flat asbestos roof sheets.
Application method
Prep — free surfaces of all adhesion-blocking oil, dirt and loose layers; make clean and dry. Before applying, thin Dyoflex Fiber 40% with water and apply one coat as primer; once dry, apply 2–3 coats of Dyoflex Fiber unthinned. Apply each coat crosswise to the previous, within at least 24 h. Surfaces that will be walked on or subject to mechanical impact need a protective topcoat.
