Description
An alkyd-resin-based, hammered-metal-look topcoat paint applied directly to metal.
Properties
Has a coarse hammer pattern. Can be applied without a primer to rusty surfaces whose loose rust has been sanded off; usable on all interior and exterior metal surfaces; excellent adhesion and fast drying. Corrosion-resistant.
Application area
Can be applied directly to all metal surfaces — metal office furniture and goods, elevator cabins, steel doors, garden furniture and iron bars.
Application method
New metal — clean of all rust, dirt and oil. Rusty metal — remove loose and blistered paint and rust, then wipe with thinner. Avoid strong wind/draft during application. Apply by brush, roller or spray gun; spray is recommended for the ideal look. Ready to use; thin with Dyo Cellulosic Thinner if needed. One coat is usually enough depending on surface saturation; if a second coat is needed, apply within max 3 hours — if not, wait at least 1 week. Aim to form a homogeneous paint film. Pattern formation depends on thinning, compressor pressure and gun handling; for the ideal look apply at 2–3 atm from 25–30 cm. Clean tools with Dyo Cellulosic Thinner.
